With the Catholic Church in decline, a German monk promotes a series of studies and discussions on the need to worship God sincerely and no longer aimed at accumulating wealth. Through the elaboration of theses and a more elaborate reading of the Holy Scriptures, the movement for the reform of the church was born, culminating in Protestantism.
